The Coral Water® Story - How it began...
The
Coral Water® story actually began when the head editor for
“The Guinness Book of World Records” visited the island of
Okinawa, Japan to personally interview the world’s oldest
living man, Mr. Shigechiy Izumi. At 115 years old, he was in
remarkably good health. The reporter noted that Mr. Izumi
wasn’t the only one on the island full of vim and vigor at a very
advanced age. Almost all of the elderly people on the island were
fit and healthy and their bodies were free of the degenerative diseases
so common to people throughout the rest of the world. When Mr.
Izumi finally died, he was past his 120th year and active up until his
death.
Scientists then began to visit Okinawa and its
surrounding islands in an attempt to discover the source of the
inhabitants’ health and longevity of life. They observed
that the islands were comprised primarily of coral, and when rain
percolated through these coral rocks & sands, it became rich in
minerals and highly alkaline. When this water is consumed on a
regular basis, it was found that it also helped to effectively regulate
important body fluid pH.
In subsequent years, a group of these scientists
decided to import this same granulated coral from the island of Okinawa
and attempted to identically reproduce the health-giving water found
there. They named their product “Coral Water”.
Although their attempts were valiant, they never succeeded in
developing a process that would fully replicate the Okinawan water.
This company simply did not have the means nor the marketing
clout to bring their special water to market.
